MEET CHRIS

With decades of hands-on experience across brewing, distribution, and brand leadership, Chris brings unmatched industry knowledge and a customer-first approach to every partnership. A Certified Cicerone® and longtime advocate for quality craft beverages, he understands exactly what brewers need — because he’s been in their shoes.

Director of Sales & Marketing, Columbia Distributing

Chris began his career more than 40 years ago with a startup importer and distributor introducing beers like Tiger Lager and ABC Stout to the U.S. market. As Oregon’s craft beer scene took shape, he helped build early relationships with iconic breweries including Widmer, Bridgeport, and Deschutes. When the company was acquired by Columbia Distributing in 1994, Chris stepped into the role of Director of Sales & Marketing and worked closely with many of the most influential craft brands in the world.

CEO, Worthy Brewing

In 2011, after meeting a hop company at the Craft Brewers Conference, Chris was invited to lead Worthy Brewing in Bend as CEO. Under his leadership the brewery grew rapidly, expanding production and becoming one of Oregon’s fastest-rising craft breweries.

As Director of Sales for Oregon Fruit

Chris joined Oregon Fruit in 2016, drawn by the opportunity to support brewers, cideries, and beverage makers with high-quality fruit and exceptional service. He’s known for his responsiveness, practical insight, and genuine commitment to helping customers develop standout products — from menu planning and taproom activations to fermentation guidance and fruit selection.

On a Personal Level

When he’s not working with creators across the beverage industry, Chris can usually be found exploring the full spectrum of beer styles (with a soft spot for West Coast IPAs) or dreaming up the perfect raspberry framboise or kriek built on Oregon Fruit’s purees.

If you’re looking for an experienced, collaborative partner who understands the craft beverage market from the inside out, Chris is here to help.
