Ingredients
- 2 cans Oregon Fruit Products Blackberries, drained
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon grated Lemon Peel
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups pared, diced Tart Apples
- Pastry for 2 Pie Crusts
- 1 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Mix together sugar, flour, cinnamon, lemon peel and salt. Add fruit and toss lightly.
- Line 9-inch pie pan with half of pastry. Place filling in pastry lined pan; dot with butter.
- Roll out remaining pastry and place over filling. Slash top crust in 3 or 4 places to allow steam to escape; seal and crimp edges.
- Bake 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and filling begins to bubble.
