Ingredients
- 2 cans Oregon Fruit Products Dark Sweet Cherries, drained, reserve syrup
- Water
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Orange Peel, grated
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Peel, grated
- 1/2 cup Brandy
- Vanilla Ice Cream
Instructions
- Add water to reserved syrup to equal 2 cups.
- In chafing dish, combine reserved syrup mixture, sugar and cornstarch. Stir in lemon juice and peels. Cook and stir until thickened.
- Stir in cherries. Stir in brandy and heat until warm; carefully ignite. Spoon cherries and sauce over individual servings of ice cream.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
