The Story Behind The Cherry
Oregon State University put American cherries on the map — and Oregon went on to control roughly 65% of American maraschino cherry production. Our Research and Development lead is an OSU grad who knows that history well. His question: if Oregon built the cherry industry, why had Oregon not built a better cocktail cherry? So we did. Pacific Northwest dark sweet cherries, packed in their own thick cherry juice, finished with Jacobsen Sea Salt from the Oregon coast. No artificial color, no artificial flavor. The cocktail cherry Oregon should have made a long time ago.
